This training module will provide young and/or experienced IT specialists with an overview of the main challenges a software consultant encounters during the service he/she provides to the Client. A maximum 2 hours presentation on the following topics:

• Why does a Client need a consultant?
• What means for a Client to accept a Consultant (competence/communication/attitude/ performance; cost/delays/errors/risk/ => value added)
• What is success? Whose success is it?
• Project success vs. project benefits
• Expectations: Client, Employer, Consultant; gaps
• How to operate as a Consultant and plug the expectation gap
  –   How to obtain a satisfied Client
  –   How to keep satisfied the Employer
  –   How to keep yourself motivated
